Kortex/Capability/Mobile welding & repairs

On-site welding, repairs & structural modifications

A broken gate, a cracked bracket, a beam that has to be in before the inspector comes back. Our mobile welding truck arrives with its own power and gas, and we tell you honestly whether it is a same-day fix or a shop job.

Need it looked at today?

Most of our field calls start with a photo. A hinge torn off a gate, a railing post rusted through at the base, a steel connection that was fabricated wrong and does not fit. We look at the photo, tell you whether it is a truck job or a shop job, and give you a time.

Structural modifications get the same care as new work: new openings in existing steel, reinforcing an overloaded beam, adding a post, all detailed with your engineer where the structure is involved and welded under written procedures.

Questions we get asked.

Answered here, so they stop arriving by email.

Can you come today?

Often, yes. Call with a photo and a location and we will give you a time, or tell you honestly that it is a shop job.

Do you cut and remove old steel?

Yes. Old railings, gates, tanks and frames cut out and taken away as part of the job.

Can you modify a beam that is already in?

Yes, with your engineer's detail for anything structural. We weld to the detail and provide the documentation for inspection.
