Kortex/Capability/Welding

Professional welding services

Welding is the trade the company is built on. Procedures are written for each joint and followed on every one, whether it is a structural moment connection or a stainless counter seam.

The welds are our problem, not yours.

Kortex is run by the same people behind AAA Canadian Welding Academy, a registered private career college in Ontario. We train welders for a living, then put the best of them on our own jobs.

That shows up in the small things a contractor notices: procedures instead of improvisation, the right process for the material, clean welds where they will be seen, and documentation your inspector can check in one look.

Questions we get asked.

Answered here, so they stop arriving by email.

Are your welders certified?

Our welders are trained through our own registered welding academy and tested on the processes they use. Ask us for the documentation that applies to your project and we will send it.

Can you weld aluminum and stainless on site?

Yes. TIG and MIG field welding of stainless and aluminum is routine for us, subject to weather and access.

Do you do small welding jobs?

Yes. A cracked bracket or a gate hinge is often how a long relationship starts.
